[Brewer, ME] – Brett MacLean, General Manager of the Troy Industrial Solutions Maine Fabrication facility is pleased to announce we have successfully met the quality certification requirements for Building Fabricator and Complex Coating Endorsement and received our AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) certifications. It makes the Troy Maine facility one of seven in Maine and one of 36 in New England to have these certifications. According to MacLean, “This is a big feather in our cap and I want to thank everyone for helping us achieve this. We should all be proud of this accomplishment.”
Phil Foley, Quality Control Manager and Safety Manager of Troy’s Maine Fabrication Facility in Brewer was instrumental in achieving this accreditation for the company. It took him approximately six months to write the program and over a year, start to finish, to complete the process with revisions. “Having AISC Quality Management Systems Certification tells customers we have set a higher standard of expectations for ourselves with our policies and procedures to complete quality work.”
