Troy Industrial Solutions (TIS) is pleased to announce our participation in National Manufacturing Day, October 6th, 2023, and our commitment to supporting the promotion and growth of manufacturing jobs for future generations. Because of this commitment, TIS will be initiating an annual scholarship to be awarded yearly to one graduating high school senior, anywhere throughout the US, who is interested in pursuing a career in manufacturing, mechanical or maintenance industries.
This year’s Troy Industrial Solutions Manufacturing Scholarship recipient will receive a $1000.00 financial award to be used towards earning a certificate or educational credential at any college, vocational or trade school in the United States. Funds can be used for tuition, fees, books, equipment or tools used in this endeavor.
The 2023/2024 TIS scholarship recipient will be selected based on the following submissions:
- Application
- 500-word essay demonstrating why interested in pursuing a career in manufacturing, mechanical or maintenance industries
- Letter(s) of recommendation from a teacher, employer or mentor supporting field of interest selection
