Watervliet Facility Celebrates 20 years of Recognition by OSHA for Continued Exemplary Safety and Health Programs
Watervliet, NY – Troy Industrial Solutions, a leading provider of maintenance repair, industrial supply, custom fabrication, training and predictive maintenance services for industrial equipment, is proud to announce that it has been recertified by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for its Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP). Troy Industrial first achieved SHARP certification in December 1999 and has maintained high safety standards and operations excellence for 20 years. This year marks the eighth time Troy has been recertified.

OSHA’s SHARP program recognizes small business employers who have used OSHA’s On-Site Consultation Program services and operate exemplary safety and health programs. To recertify Troy Industrial, OSHA conducted an analysis that included:
- Interviews with management and employees
- Full shop inspection
- Verification of all reports
- Review of Safety Committee notes
- Review of Job Hazard Analysis
- Review of new processes and equipment
- Review of all Safety Data Sheets
- Verification that Troy had no loss time recorded due to safety issues
