This spring, Troy Industrial Solutions hosted maintenance managers, superintendents, foremen, lead technicians and engineers from across New England and New York for a full day of training at venues including the Courtyard by Marriott in Nashua, NH, the Augusta Civic Center in Augusta, ME, the Hilton Garden Inn in Milford, CT and Troy Industrial Solutions’ headquarters in Watervliet NY. After two years away, it was great to see the positive response to our spring training sessions. Nearly 100 attendees from over 40 companies attended the session.
For these specially targeted sessions, Troy’s product managers went in-depth on conveyor maintenance and motor maintenance for an information-packed day.
In the morning, our product manager for industrial rubber and material handling led a session focusing on maintaining and troubleshooting conveyor systems. Attendees learned about conveyor belt construction, the three Ts of conveyor maintenance: track, train and troubleshoot, belt cleaning and conveyor safety.
After lunch, Troy’s product manager for electromechanical sales and service took over to guide attendees through maintaining and troubleshooting electric motors and associated drive products. The session covered electric motor basics including design and construction, best practices for motor maintenance, lubrication and testing and motor selection.
