Congratulations, Cloe Wales!

Recipient of Troy Industrial Solutions’

2025 Manufacturing Scholarship

On behalf of Troy Industrial Solutions’ scholarship committee, we are pleased to announce that Cloe Ann-Marie Wales is the recipient of the 2025 Troy Industrial Solutions Manufacturing Scholarship. Cloe is a 2025 graduating high school senior from Albia Community High School in Albia, Iowa.

Learning the skilled trade of welding as a junior in high school not only ignited a passion for the craft, but it also sparked Cloe’s curiosity and motivated her to keep trying new things. “Welding opened my eyes to the endless opportunities in the trades. Whether it’s fabricating metal structures or refining my techniques with each weld, I find satisfaction in knowing that my work is built to last. Welding is a field where craftsmanship and problem-solving come together, and I love the challenge of continuously improving my skills.” Cloe’s passion for the trade also includes inspiring and encouraging more girls to explore welding as a valuable skill and career path, helping to break the barrier by showing that women can thrive in this field. She is committed to building a future in welding technology and making a lasting impact on the industry. Cloe’s recommendation letter included attributes of being “hard-working, disciplined, responsible, and respectful,” characteristics we value and encourage at Troy Industrial Solutions.

Cloe will receive a one-time $1,000.00 financial award to be used towards her education in the fall. We wish Cloe a successful future and look forward to her achieving remarkable things and inspiring others while promoting the growth of manufacturing and skilled trades for future generations.
