Here at Troy Industrial Solutions, we want to make sure our customers have access to the most knowledgeable support personnel out there. That’s why we are so proud to announce that our own Paul Shupenis has reached Drives Level Expert for our ABB Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and Controls. He is now the Drives Level Expert for our Connecticut location.
Drives experts assist our customers with the ABB VFD’s and Controls, which assist in many customer applications, controlling motor speed and electrical load with a goal to drive energy savings. Drives Experts have deep knowledge in all phases of customer implementation from selection of products, to start-up programming and application troubleshooting.
Paul joined Troy Industrial Solutions as a Technical Sales Representative two years ago. Since he joined, he’s been someone we’ve relied on time and again to go the extra mile for our customers. About a year ago, we asked him if he was interested in taking on the expert training for Troy. The training has dozens of modules, instructor-led training sessions and intense certification testing. Paul took on the challenge and went from zero to sixty, mastering module after module. We’re so excited for our Connecticut customers to have such a highly skilled resource.
Fun fact: Paul earned a degree in Meteorology from Western Connecticut University!
