Troy Industrial Solutions is looking for a motivated professional with proven experience to fill a Territory Manager – Southern Tier position covering lower New York and northern New Jersey. The individual in this position is responsible for revenue generation through the identifaction and cultivation of new sales opportunities within new and existing customer accounts. Through Collaboration with team members and customers you will help create dynamic and turnkey solutions inside multiple industrial markets including mining, power generation, recycling, municipalities, food & beverage and more.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales results by actively engaging customers, including researching, pursuing, networking, and closing business opportunities
  • Track your relationships and opportunities utilizing a CRM tool to manage your market
  • Retain existing customer base delivering the value proposition of the company and your customer relationship experience
  • Present solutions to address customer needs, utilizing all the company’s product and services offering from 4 locations throughout the northeastern US
  • Promote and sell top tier power transmission manufacturers and provide the services for the products that you sell.
  • Responsible for implementing company strategic priorities, including joint calls, cultivating relationships, communicating to executive team threats and opportunities to the market

 QUALIFICATIONS

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Previous industrial sales experience required; 3 years at a minimum
  • Two-year degree or equivalent military service a minimum. Four-year technical degree (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering) preferred
  • Extensive experience with application and use of products in area of expertise
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to build business rapport with clients
  • Ability to work with the following software packages:
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • CRM System

Pay: $110,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
