Troy Industrial Solutions is looking for a motivated professional with proven experience to fill an Industrial Metal Fabrication Estimator position. This position coordinates the design, engineering, scope of work, and proposal for the solutions offered by Troy Industrial.

This opportunity is in our Brewer, Maine location, where we have a significant focus on custom metal fabrication, bulk material handling and machining with the backing of a large manufacturing facility loaded with the equipment, personnel and resources to make you successful.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Collaborate with team members and customers to create dynamic and turnkey solutions for multiple industrial markets, including wood, mining, power generation, recycling, municipalities, and food & beverage
• Review and evaluate request for estimates. Clarify scope, time and budget with Territory Mangers, Technical Service Representatives and/or directly with the customer.
• Ability to solve practical problems utilizing analytical skills and best practices for an engineered solution. Engage with customers at their facilities to best understand the problems at hand, as needed.

• Utilizing modern software such as Sage ERP system along with integrated CRM functionality as well as SolidWorks 3D modeling to maximize efficiency in your role.
• Develop and grow a strong working knowledge of related company product sales and services

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Two (2) year Technical Degree or related work experience required.
• Mechanical aptitude and design experience essential.
• Strong computer literacy using multiple software platforms
• Drafting experience with SolidWorks preferred.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
