Relocation Assistance Available
Troy Industrial Solutions is looking for a motivated career minded individual to fill our Industrial Gearbox Technician position. Working within multiple industrial markets, including wood, mining, power generation, recycling, municipalities, and food & beverage you will be responsible for the service and repair of large and small gearboxes (Falk, Dodge, Hansen, Philadelphia Gear, etc.) and other related equipment. This position is primarily in shop repairs with occasional outside field service work at customer locations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Perform industrial gearbox repair and related work
- Ability to perform root cause failure analysis
- Ability to rebuild equipment to OEM specifications
- Travel to customer sites as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Positive attitude
- 3-5 years of related work experience in industrial gearbox repair required
- High School Diploma or equivalent and applicable mechanical/technical experience preferred.
- Two-year degree from a technical school or certificate from an industrial program preferred.
- Able & willing to frequently bend and reach and lift up to 50lbs safely
- Able & willing to work in hot and cold temperatures and weather conditions and loud environment
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
