December 4, 2019 — Troy Industrial Solutions is excited to announce that Brett Maclean has been promoted to General Manager for Troy Industrial Solutions Brewer, LLC. Brett joined the company in January of 2018 as Production Manager at the Brewer, Maine metal fabrication shop. During his time with Troy, Brett worked to AWS certify our welders, implemented a formal quality control program, adapted LEAN manufacturing and formulated a second shift operation.

Brett brought with him over 30 years of experience in steel fabrication spending most of that time as the Operations Manager at Newport Industrial Fabrication. He also worked for 10 years at Maine Cascade Ironworks.

Brett resides in Fairfield, Maine with his wife, Karen. They have two grown children. Brett spends his free time volunteering in the community, learning the art of home brewing beer and traveling with his wife.

Brett officially started his new role in mid-November.
