{Watervliet, NY} – Jason Smith, President of Troy industrial Solutions (TIS) was pleased to announce the promotion of Dale McCarthy to the position of Vice President at TIS’s Annual Sales and Manager’s Meeting on October 12th, in Nashua, NH. Dale previously held the position of TIS’ Corporate Sales Manager for over six (6) years where he led and managed his team to meet and exceed company sales goals, developed and implemented successful sales programs, built solid vendor and customer relations and provided extensive product knowledge based on his years of experience in industrial distribution.
Dale’s new leadership role will include the responsibility of overseeing and supporting the company’s overall operational performance in all four of TIS locations. He will be leading the Executive Management Team in the development of new and existing strategies to promote revenue growth, marketing initiatives, employee training and promoting the company’s mission of “family first.”
In addition, Dale will be guiding and mentoring General/Operational and Territory Managers on achieving business goals, maintaining customer satisfaction by providing quality products as well as excellent service, and overseeing the company’s safety programs and initiatives.
Dale has been leading teams to achieve goals for over 25 years. Through recruitment, development, and expectations of performance at the highest level, his drive for success has led to his successful career in sales and management. He has developed strong relationships with both vendors and customers alike over his career and is not afraid to provide input on critical decisions and give direction based on his industry experience.
Also, a born leader outside of work, Dale spends much of his free time coaching both of his children in youth sports, including football, baseball, softball, and basketball. His passion for family, team, competition and winning contributed to his promotion of Vice President and will continue to drive him to be a successful leader and an integral component of the Troy Industrial Solutions family of companies.
Dale currently resides in Schuylerville, NY with his wife Elizabeth and two young children, Macie and Gavin.
