Troy Industrial Solutions Promotes Michael Moran to General Manager
Troy Industrial Solutions is pleased to recognize the hard work and long time commitment of Michael Moran as we announce his promotion to general manager of our Watervliet, NY facility. Michael has been a valued and admired employee, co-worker and leader at Troy Industrial for 30 years. In his new role, he will focus on the overall success of the electromechanical repair shop, industrial rubber fabrication operation and distribution businesses.

As general manager, Michael will ensure that Troy has the right people working with the right products in order to provide our customers with the highest standards of service. He will oversee accounting, human resources, service, repair, sales and inventory control – analyzing and streamlining current practices to maintain Troy’s reputation as a premier supplier in the marketplace.

Michael spent his first year out of college at a paper distribution company and then quickly found his home at Troy Industrial Solutions. He joined the company as an inside sales representative working on materials handling and power transmission products. Michael worked his way steadily through the ranks and has held positions as office manager and operations manager, where he expanded his understanding of the business working on accounting, sales, and inventory warehousing. He has served on the Troy Industrial Solutions Board of Directors for 12 years and is currently the acting secretary of the board.
Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in business from SUNY Utica (now SUNY Polytechnic Institute) and an associate degree in business from SUNY Morrisville. He lives in Saratoga Springs, NY with his wife and has two adult children. In his spare time, he runs 5K road races, is an avid fisherman and has spent many years coaching youth soccer for the Saratoga Wilton Soccer Club.
