Troy Industrial Solutions is looking for a motivated professional with proven experience to fill an Accounting Associate position. In addition to routine accounting duties the individual in this position will work with our CFO to streamline processes, work on various projects, increase effective utilization of ERP system (SAGE). If you’re detail orientated, have a good work ethic and positive attitude, then this is the place for you.


  • Interact with employees, customers and vendors effectively, professionally, and as a representative of Troy Industrial Solutions in a manner that enhances each relationship.
  • Reconcile, process and pay vendor invoices
  • Ensure that documentation is complete and current in company databases
  • Act as initial point of contact for all incoming calls and visitors
  • Maintain working knowledge of related accounting and sales modules of the Sage system as well as provide backup in other departments as needed.
  • Recommend any opportunities for operational improvement.


  • Two-year accounting degree or related certificate program required.
  • Two years prior accounting, accounts payable or related work experience required.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and accounting software (e.g. SAGE) preferred
  • Well-organized with ability to prioritize
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
